The TRAVERS   Putter  was reg. in G.B.in 1919. Is an all wood club, with  11 lead bullets inserted between the back, and the bottom. It also has no grip, it has a square  wood grip which is part of the shaft.  It also was a very popular club in its day. Another must for the collector. In V.G.C

Very good Long Nose socket  PUTTER by James Horn  Professional Golfer &  Club Maker  of Weston  Super Mare  1926 to 1948.  There is a brass plate covering the bottom of the head, and the shaft is nearly at 90% to the head. You can just about see J.Hs name on the shaft. It has a very attractive  red leather period grip. Good for play or display.   It also has a nice Persimmon Head.
